Pan Gaofeng, born in the 1980s, is a passionate rocket R&D engineer. After completing graduate school, he joins the First Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology—home to China’s most advanced rocket research. There, he becomes part of the elite team developing the powerful “Fat Five” (Long March 5, CZ-5) launch vehicle.
