📢 Anoboye – A Possible Direction Change

STATUS: ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey guys, I wanted to be upfront with you about something I've been thinking through for Anoboye's future.

Right now Anoboye is run fully manually — every episode, every upload, every update goes through me by hand. Between juggling two internships at once and college on top of that, I genuinely barely have the time to keep everything updated the way it deserves, and that's exactly why updates have been slower and less consistent lately.

To fix this properly rather than keep patching it, I've already built ZH Anime as a fully automated site for Anime and Donghua — updates go out on their own without needing me to manually push each one.

That would free me up to turn Anoboye into an Anicomics-only site, still updated manually, but with roughly half the workload I'm dealing with now. That means more consistent, better-quality updates for Anicomics instead of me being stretched too thin across everything.

After the untimely death of college student Xing Ye, he discovered an uncanny and extraordinary ability: he could possess other bodies with 100% accuracy rate, a supernatural power that defied all logic and natural law. However, his first attempt at possession went completely awry when he accidentally took over a corpse instead of a living person. To his surprise and horror, this corpse was the former host of a powerful and extremely dangerous system known as the "Death Task System" (死亡任务系统).

The previous owner had tragically perished due to the system's relentless and indiscriminate dispatching of death-defying tasks, missions so perilous that they ignored the host's actual capabilities and limitations. The system would assign impossible suicide missions regardless of whether the host could realistically complete them, leading to inevitable death for anyone unlucky enough to be chosen.

Now in complete control of both the corpse and the deadly system, Xing Ye finds an unexpected and ironic advantage in his already deceased state. Unlike his predecessor who lived in constant fear of the system's lethal challenges, he has absolutely nothing to fear from the system's most dangerous and supposedly fatal missions. As a corpse puppet, death threats become meaningless to him.

As he navigates this bizarre new existence caught between life and death, Xing Ye begins to master the Death Task System in ways the original host never could. He turns the system's perilous missions into opportunities for growth and power, using his unique undead status to complete tasks that would be impossible for living hosts.

Embracing his peculiar situation with dark humor and strategic thinking, he sets out on an extraordinary journey filled with supernatural danger, tactical maneuvering, and the quest for ultimate control over both life and death itself. In this world where being dead is actually an advantage, Xing Ye becomes an unstoppable force that neither the living nor the dead can predict or control.
